NSESI is working with America's premiere manufacturer of Recreational Vehicles,
Coachmen, to convert a forty-foot,
Class A motorhome into an eco-friendly platform for developing and showcasing solar and
biodiesel technology.
While RV's aren't exactly known for energy conservation, NSESI is operating
on biodiesel, a completely renewable fuel. And, by incorporating an extensive solar
array on its roof, the vehicle can produce 1.75KW of power, more than enough energy to operate any of
its appliances without starting its auxilliary diesel generator.
When not being used, the solar array can be connected to its owner's house to provide
considerable energy cost savings - saving fuel on the road and saving energy at home.
When complete, NSESI will be traveling around the country to share the latest in
green technology in inimitable style.
